Unlike glass beads which have smooth, rounded surfaces aluminum oxide grains feature various sharp points, making them highly effective at cutting and texturing surfaces. Sold in 5 lb jars. Micron graded media works as follows: there are 1,000 microns to a millimeter. The larger the micron number, the larger
