Notes of honeysuckle
The fruit for this vintage was picked over eight different parcels
poached pear and discreet lemon confit wisps
attractive flavors that finish abruptly on the palate
In the case of this ’05
Boislauzon, Chateauneuf Du Pape Quet Vintage:2009 Notes of honeysuckleBased on 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvdre, the 2009 Chteauneuf Du Pape Cuvee Du Quet is showing beautifully, with a powerful, rich, yet seamless style. Ripe black cherries, black licorice, roasted garrigue, meat, tapenade, and Provenal notes all emerge from the glass. It's full bodied, has a deep, layered mid palate, sweet tannins, and a great finish. I'd say it's drinking at point today, yet it has the density, depth, and balance to evolve gracefully
