Description
wet-stone nose and a wealth of lime and light peach
The 2022 was vinified by the former team here
and although those elements will become finer and more elegant with time
There is more backbone here compared to the 2009 and a little more persistence on the finish
with medium to full-bodied notes of black raspberries
Vergelegen, V other_regions wet-stone nose and a wealthA blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% each of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, the 2013 V starts with focused red and black fruits on the nose with integrated oak. The palate shows control and balance with rusticity. The finish is tight and reminiscent of a Super Tuscan with a full bodied expression that will age for decades.
