Curious Tightly Wrapped Layers of Lead Foil Ball (2 lbs) antique handled bucket so could just not resistI love this thing, found at my favorite family owned cabinet of old wonders and curiosities sort of a shop in New Hampshire this week. It is solid, and heavy, and was made it appears by wrapping one scrap of lead foil over another, again and again. I have no idea its origins, but presume made by a worker regularly using lead foil a plumber or electrician or ? Feels like it has a good bit of age to it and it really quite a beautiful, sculptural,
