These were awarded to a young "Master Charley Geoppinger" in the late 1870s or so by a couple of different teachers - two of them for a hundred merits
Overall condition is excellent with some paint loss on both sides of the neck of one figure
and some dulling/clouding of the finish on the top

Whatever the case, I'll never resist a good alphabet, and love the color of the thread used on these, and the combination of the capital and lower case letters, and the way Us and Vs and W's are partially lost, and the XYZs
