I'm not sure if 3-dimensional objects can actually qualify as trompe 'loeil

hanging on a white wall with a bit of air around it and it struck me as just the most perfect thing--elegant

with a bit of very minor foxing and one thin line of minor discoloration running vertically near the floor lamp at upper right

The fabric covering his body has worn through in a couple of spots, so he will spill a little straw when one handles him; best really to perch him somewhere and leave him alone. But what a sweet thing and I'm not sure I've seen an antique hand sewn stuffed frog before.
