I would think these date to 1920s or so but am not completely sure

shaped like a bird and originally intended as a salt dish I believe

carved from one piece of wood

which almost makes me think she was made as a mannequin for a ballet instructor

I especially love the forward pointing horizontal line made by his forearms and the tip of the arrow but best of all, on the more worn backside, someone long ago wrote "I love you." 12 3 4" t x 8 3 4" w x 3 8" thick.
