Great Antique D.M. & Co. Heart-shaped Smokehouse Padlock with Key Carabinieri puppet but I do believe thisFrom what I've learned, this great old steel and brass D. M. & Co. padlock is a pretty rare one, dating to the Civil War era, and all the rarer in great working shape with key. D. M & Co stands for Davenport Mallor & Co of New Haven, CT and there were a few varieties of these they produced; this one, heart shaped, with decorative brass plate around the keyhole and simple brass swinging lock cover is my favorite I've seen. A great gift for the love of
