Bryant, Cabernet Sauvignon Vintage:2018 I am especially struck byThis is densely packed with flavors of dark currant preserves, warmed fig and blackberry reduction, showing notes of smoldering tobacco, chestnut and bay leaf, all backed by a strong cast iron minerality on the finish. Well crafted and built for the cellar, but with an overt, even slightly rugged toasty edge that may be a bit much for the purist crowd. Best from 2023 through 2040.
