Stacked in various configurations they make for good tabletop or shelf sculpture

as well as the great orange windows on the backside

Ive never seen another rolling pin style footstool footrest fashioned into an animal like this, but with the long roll upon which to place one's feet, it makes perfect sense that this should assume the form of a dog. And what a great one, looking eager and ever ready to lend its back to a resting a foot or two. The snout, tail and paws were individually carved then attached, with one black and one white paw at front, toe nails painted too! 14 l
