Think Converse, but better made and more comfortable. Wonderfully colourful nylon uppers are super soft and wrap the foot like a hug, while the laces help customize the fit. The chunky rubber wedge sole adds some height (just shy of 2"), but that is mostly offset by the ~1. 25" platform under the toes. All that
