Vintage Salmon Fishing Print - Henry Thomas Alken 19th Century Sporting Print butterfly the great Mississippi{HISTORY} Casting their way through time, these three British fishermen add quite a bit of elegance to the sportfishing scene. Clad in top hats and frocks, this fishing portrait was originally painted in 1820 by renowned English artist, Henry Thomas Alken (1785 1851). This particular print was made in Germany in 1960 in large format folio size for the Societe Nouvelle des Editions du Chene in Paris and is gorgeously reproduced on textured paper with
