The palate is extremely well balanced with just about perfect viscosity

I like the power and punch but the hint of herbaceousness is a potential concern

and think it needs another 2-3 years of cellaring

punchy and velvety medium full-bodied flavors display only a moderate amount of '95 style tannins on the otherwise delicious

Camille Giroud, Volnay Lurets Vintage:2013 The palate is extremely wellThis is aromatically similar to the straight Volnay though while I like the slightly better complexity the nose isnt quite as fresh. There is better vibrancy on the palate of the succulent and round flavors that also exude a subtle minerality on the slightly warm and raspy finish. This is certainly good but its not quite as well balanced.
