Allamakee Pottery Wood Fired Pottery Small Vase folio harnessed horsesThis little vase reminds me of a tree trunk, and I really like the three little buttons near the lip. I believe it was made by Allamakee Pottery in New Albin, Iowa, operated by Hallie and Nate Evans, who established the studio in 2000 and make functional wood fired pottery. I think especially nice in the winter months with a few little branches of berries, or the first buds of spring. 5 7 8" tall; 1 3 8" across at opening and 3 3 4" across at base.
