A 3 4" SCH 80 hose barb is included with the purchase. This original slotted PVC filter is suitable for low pressure pumps with a 3 8" suction port such as the 3 8" air diaphragm pump. This filter is finely slotted and allows for tremendous flow. Beware of filters that offer a nylon screen or low grade stainless steel screen over the PVC. The nylon and SS screen will break down
