Wonderful Old Folk Art Black and White Dog carved rosebud and nice and heavyA complete charmer I think, and definitely an old one, with great aging to the paint and the dog attached to a railed wooden base, to which only the front legs are attached so one can position him in action if desired! One side features some gray silver spots in addition to the black ones, maybe added at a later date, and perhaps in attempt to portray a specific beloved pup. Really great, and of a nice substantial scale. 8 5 8" t x 7 7 8" (base is 7"
