This is the first of a handful of small seaweed pressings I purchased together

I like to imagine this sign once hung above a big back booth at a local diner

It is essentially a worship of the Imperfect

signed with what appears to be “Turner” on the bottom

Small Early 19th Century Folk Art Watercolor, Birds in Tree party prop This is the first ofThis is one of three small watercolors I purchased together, all dating to the first half of the 19th century and I believe all by the same maker. This is the smallest of the three, miniature really, but completely charming I think, and with super saturated color on the flurry of birds and leafy branches, and if one looks closely a tiny nest perched on one of the branches. Paper size 2 7 8" x 2 1 8". Excellent condition.
