Description
9% of this wine is from Australia—A1 grade Aussie Cabernet Sauvignon from South Australia
It's quite an experience
A super-fresh and markedly sauvage-inflected nose offers very cool array of red and dark berries where hints of herbal tea
Substantial building tannins coat the teeth and give the finish a youthfully aggressive quality
This is presently not as complex as the Rugiens but the underlying material appears to be of sufficient quality such that more will almost certainly develop and my projected range takes this improvement into account
Michel Lafarge, Bourgogne Rouge other_regions_italy 9% of this wine is(from 40+ year old vines in Petit Pr which was once classified as Volnay villages). This is also exuberantly fresh and bright with a very pinot nose of red berries, earth and more spice elements that are reflected by the sleek, delicious and well detailed middle weight flavors that possess even better depth and persistence. This too boxes well above its weight.
