The Paring Syrah, 2020 Apalta While waiting for the vineyardCocoa nibs, Brazilian dark chocolate, linear notes of dark berries, espresso, black fruit and hints of juicy California orange. 100% Syrah aged in both new and neutral French oak for 22 months, rounding out the edges. The Paring label was born in 2006, an offshoot of esteemed JONATA and The Hilt wines, made from vineyard blocks that are either too young or don't fit into the vintage style of the flagship wines yet are still made with the same pedigree
