Four 'humanoid' figures from Linnaeus's 'Academic delights' mb-code 1238622 with owners including King GeorgeFour 'humanoid' figures: (L R) Troglodyta Bontu, Lucifer Aldrovandi, Satyrus Tulpii and Pygmaeus Edwardi from thesis CV 'Anthropomorpha' by Christianus Emmanuel Hoppius, 1760, published in volume 6 of Amoenitates academicae (Stockholm, 1763). Amoenitates academicae ('Academic delights', 10 volumes, 1749 1790) was published in Carl Linnaeus's name, and edited by him (vols 1 7) and J C D Schreber (vols 8 10). It consisted of theses presented and
