Aurage Vintage:2014 the other 10% is Cabernet

the other 10% is Cabernet Franc

One of the top eight or so Brunellos of the 2013 vintage

and it means the fruit struggles to break free

This too is very good and should age effortlessly

amazingly soft for a young Hermitage

Aurage Vintage:2014 the other 10% is CabernetDeep garnet with bricky rim. More lifted than the 2007, deliciously spiced on the nose, a succulent spicy sweetness and just a hint of maturity in those mulched leaf notes. Structure is a little firmer here, both in the tannins and the acidity but even so it is really harmonious and elegant on the long finish. Moreish and mouth watering. Oak now nicely in the background. (JH)
