3 1/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide and deep overall

resulting in a really gorgeous surface

But most of all I love the message: embrace the power of the pen! (Which I interpret not just in terms of making beautiful letters, but also writing potent content!) A perfect gift for a writer, I'd say. 6 3 4" x 2 3 8" and in very good condition, second half 19th c. I believe.
