Description
Opaque ruby
Finishes pure
The caressing yet powerful big-bodied flavors flash good muscle on the raspy and somewhat short if very firm finish
very good ripeness with touches of clear honey
This is an unusual 2011 that needs cellaring
Rossignol Trapet, Gevrey Chambertin Petite Chapelle other_regions Opaque ruby(also from young vines planted in 1986). A relatively high toned and very pinot nose that is cool, airy and transparent as the stony influence of the site is easily seen through the red berry fruit aromas and continues onto the pretty, supple and beautifully detailed flavors that while complex and linear, finish with mild dryness and its not a given that it will round out. 88 2013+
