A smoky nose of petrol

red cherry and plenty of warm earth nuances

clearly a reflection of the impressive structural clout of this particular vintage

it is primal on the nose and needs another year or two to subsume the oak

Sebastien Dampt, Chablis Cote Lechet Vintage:2016 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2%Dense aromas of citrus confit, sea breeze and a whiff of phenolic character leads to rich, succulent and energetic flavors that coat the palate with dry extract before tightening up on the sappy, very dry and overtly lemony finish. I like the balance, but this is going to need to develop quite a bit of depth over the course of the next few years as its presently borderline one dimensional.
