Germany, Imperial. An Old Master Of Fencing Badge GTRexclude 2nd restoration (1814)(Deutsche Krieger Fechtanstalt Abzeichen). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, vertical pinback, obverse presents with white enameled Maltese Cross on top of green laurel wreath, topped by Geman national crown, with central depiction of fencers shaking hands over red enameled background, maker marked HCH. Timm, Berlin C19 on reverse, in extremely fine condition.
