2020 Scrio Syrah Le Macchiole Likör powerful Garnacha built to ageScrio was born in 1994 from Eugenio Campolmi's desire to produce a wine that best expressed his vision of Syrah, his favorite grape variety. Like all Le Macchiole wines, Scrio has a personality all its own and is one of the few Syrah wines produced in Bolgheri that is different from the French Syrahs. Its production is limited to 5,000 bottles. "Scrio" is a Tuscan word that can best be translated as pure, sincere and honest. Parker Monica Larner 97, A
