Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a raised Gebirgsjger and mule, above an inscription of WESTALPEN ITALIEN, the reverse bearing a raised stage circumscribed by an inscription of LE. KOL. GEB. JAG. RGT. 100, within a date of 1945, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), with minor oxidation and loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition.
