Prussia, Kingdom. A Düppel Storm Cross, C.1864 Buy Now in generally extremely fine condition(Dppeler Sturmkreuz). Instituted 18 October 1864 by King WIlhem I of Prussia. 1864 Issue. A bronze straight armed cross paty with a round laurel wreath between the arms, the obverse bears a left facing head portrait of King WIlhelm I and WILHELM KOENIG VON PREUSSEN (Wilhelm, the King of Prussia), the reverse bears a crowned Prussian eagle atop a canon bearing a Danish cross, the 12 oclock arm on the reverse is inscribed with DPPEL, the 3 oclock arm
