Germany, Imperial; Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Helmet Plates consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac bearing a central raised Luftwaffe(Wappen). A pair of helmet plates, including: 1. A Prussian Pickelhaube Shako plate, constructed of patinated magnetic metal, the reverse retaining two attachment loops, unmarked, measuring 128 mm (w) x 110 mm (h), demonstrating minor surface oxidation, in very fine condition. 2. An Ordnungspolizei Shako plate, constructed of aluminum, the reverse missing both of its screw posts, unmarked, measuring 155 mm (w) x 85 mm (h), in very fine condition.
