I take the large figure for a snowman

with red wing and what was surely once a brighter green body

black ink/marker on a good

9 1/8" x 7 1/4" and in good condition

but it is a beautifully constructed one

They feel to me midway between Italian reliquaries and Victorian glass domed waxworks, and most of all full of the never ending (and very early Victorian) drive to make momentos of every sort lest one be forgotten. And these of course are best lit by candlelight, with the reverse
