German Half-Liter Stoneware Beer Stein with Fox what's what at home and abroad I thought it was ceramicI really love the fox on this German beer stein, ears perked, teeth bared, and tongue wagging as it surely glimpses a predator on the horizon. I don't believe it is very old (I found another with the same fox and a pewter lid being sold online by a German importer), but as far as beer steins go, I think it's a pretty great one, and would also serve one well for a giant cup of coffee.
