and the stalk has enough of a depth to cast a bit of nice shadow

Pierre Albert Leroux watercolor packing in treesIt's been chilly here at night of late, and I can hear the owls out there hooting away, all of which reminds me Halloween is not too far away, which is what this little group of cutouts calls to mind for me. I'm a sucker for paper cutouts of all sorts, but really like how the owl (with pencil drawn face) animates this set, which work well layered atop one another, easily popped into a frame together. Owl measures 5 5 8" wide. Largest "snowflake"
