An oval silver medal; the obverse depicting the rightward facing bust of Kaiser Franz Josef; on loop for suspension from its horizontally mounted ribbon; with a silver ribbon bar, dated 1848 1898; measuring 31. 11 mm (w) x 43. 21 mm (h); weighing 22. 1. grams; light contact marks; in overall extremely fine condition.
