Constructed of aluminum; the obverse consisting of a pebbled field, with a central raised field depicting a spade with a mobile swastika on the blade, surrounded by a circular field decorated with five wheat stalks; the reverse hollow, with an integrated hinge and a standard double claw bar; marked B&N, 1936 on the reverse; with its original thick and dark brown leather tab; marked Berg & Nolte, 1936
