so we are really excited to finally release a wine from this truly historic site

2017 La Vecchia Posta 'Il Selvaggio' Derthona Timorasso, Colli Tortonesi, Piedmont, Italy Trabanco Bordeaux IGPIl Selvaggio, or the wild one, comes from timorasso vines deliberately scattered throughout Robertos property. The vine is a spirit that wanders between meadows and acacias, between rows and uncultivated, gathering in the wind all the aromas of these high lands. Every time we planted a vineyard, we put inside some rows of timorasso to see how it grows in different kinds of soil. The wine is pressed and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel.
