I find the interplay between the solid matte black and the translucent blue

made into a mobile

The end of the handle is wrapped in leather

Hand-carved Wooden Whimsey Linked Ball cup with rings there is just one brokenJust a super sweet old carved whimsy, 5 inches long, with a bit of weight, making it useful atop a stack of papers, but also great just hung from a nail on the wall. I especially love the carving marks on the round sides of the ball, reminding one of how much effort it would take to make one of these! 5" long x 1 3 4" wide and deep. Very good condition. I am not certain the age on this but know that it was held in a family estate for many years;
