Plate 4 from Journal of a voyage to New South Wales by John White (J. Debrett, London, 1790). The accompanying text states that: 'We likewise saw several Blue bellied Parrots. This is a very beautiful bird a very common species in various parts of New Holland, and in great plenty both at Botany Bay and Port Jackson. It is found to differ much in plumage' The
