with wear and some dryness/light cracking to the wood (which I have not touched)

looking fabulous holding down a pile of papers while just waiting to be picked up and held in your hand

which are quite different from one other

Oaxacan Black Clay (Barro Negro) Vintage Fish Whistle images but I think it justI'm a big fan of sculptural whistles, and think this is a pretty great one. Handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico of black clay it features incised details for eyes, scales, fins, and a sort of a sun pattern at the center of each side. And it makes a great whistle by blowing into the large hole on its side near the tail, with the hole at the end of the fin functioning as a modifier for the pitch. 7" long x 4" wide x 2 1 2" tall and in great vintage condition.
