2023 Charles Lachaux Cote de Nuits-Villages Aux Montagnes, Burgundy, France Eiko Fuji Matteo vinifies the Erbaluce fromCertified organic. Planted in the 1960s in Comblanchien, in a lieu dit set high on the slope with east facing, white stony soils over limestone bedrock. Vines are trimmed by hand, leaving a tall canopy. Fermented with 100% whole clusters and native yeasts. Aged in barrel (no new oak). Bottled unfined, unfiltered.
