2019 Anders Frederik Steen 'Smell of the Pine Trees ', VDF White Domaine du Pelican and Santa Barbara County oakA blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Gewrztraminer grown by the Bannwarth family in Obermorschwihr. Each wine was vinified separately, aged over four years without topping up, and finally assembled before bottling in spring 2024. As deliciously aromatic as the name implies, this is a deep, layered oxidative wine that reveals itself slowly over time complex, textural, and built for patient drinking.
