2013 Anders Frederik Steen 'Aging a Wildflower' VDF White Cakebread released in SpringA landmark wine from Anne and Anders Frederik Steen. 100% Pinot Gris from Bannwarth in Alsace, aged untouched under flor in 228L barrels for over 10 years. No topping, no racking just time. Oxidative, saline, richly textured yet incredibly alive a wine that feels as much about patience as it is about place. Vin Jaune in spirit, but singular in execution. Only around 500 half liter bottles produced. Featured in Nerd Club as a true cellar treasure.
