Bomberger's Declaration Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 2025 Release JULY4 and any meal in between—withAn annual limited release from Michter's that honors the legacy of Bomberger's Distillery, the 19th century operation that later became Michter's. The 2025 edition's distinction is its barrel wood: Chinquapin oak (Quercus muehlenbergii), a native American oak species rarely used in bourbon. The staves were air dried and seasoned for varying periods18 months to five yearsbefore toasting and charring, creating diverse wood interaction across the blend.
