It is the last remaining Grand Cru as the valley turns away from the Rhein and into the side valley of Nierstein. Tucked away from the river, the site is thus cooler than Hipping and Pettenthal. Gravely, more broken down red sandstone slate soils, cooler from winds and touch more restrained. Arrives March 2026. 1 btl limit per customer.
